Modified the Broadcast functionality to generate emails in smaller batches, to hopefully prevent GMail mis-identifying the emails as spam. Broadcast emails use the 'bcc' (blind copy) field to send copies of the broadcast message to multiple recipients. The new functionality adds these in batches of 10 so if there are more than 10, you will need to keep selecting the 'Send Email' button (and then sending the actual email) until all of the recipients have been included. It may help to pause for a few seconds between each batch to ensure the emails have been sent before sending the next batch.

Added new option to main menu: "Fix Missing PDFs/Images" to download and PDFs and Images which may have been missed due to an error in the sync routine (which has also been fixed). All users should run this menu option once to ensure the carer records on their smartphones are complete.

Significant improvements to the Sync mechanism which manages the process of uploading and downloading documents between tablets/smartphones via the Cloud (Internet).

The process should now be faster. However, it still works in the background so you can continue working whilst it completes . The sync will happen automatically as long as there is a wi-fi or mobile data connection. If you need to minimise mobile data usage, you should disable 'use mobile data in the background' via the settings menu so that it will only sync when a wi-fi connection is available.

If the connection to the Internet is lost, or fails mid-way through a sync, the system now reports an 'Incomplete Sync' and re-starts from where it got to, at the next manual or automatic sync. Only when the sync icon turns green, has the sync (or re-sync) completed successfully.

The Re-sync process, accessed via the 'three dots' menu on the main view, has been enhanced to check for, and correct some intermittent sync problems caused by Internet glitches. It should be used if you have synced successfully but are still missing records entered by other users.

In addition, a new main menu option has been provided, 'Fix Missing Syncs'. This fixes a rare problem where an upload failed but the local system believed it to have succeeded. Therefore, the records concerned were not being synced to other devices. This menu option checks for these anomalies and clears the records so that they will be uploaded at the next sync. The menu option will list the details of any upload failures. Note: the 'loophole' causing this problem has been closed, so it will only be necessary to run this menu option once.

Modified the Permission Manager to handle a change in Google Security policy on newer smartphones. Google has restricted access to folders in the top level of the smartphone's storage which led to newer smartphones not being able to load PDF and Image files via the CRIS folder. (The files do not appear in the drop-down list despite being in the CRIS folder.) This version will prompt the user to enable access to 'all storage' when attempting to create a PDF or Image document in a client's care record.

Fixed bug which was preventing the display of the 'Sticky Flag' in Session Registers.

The Sticky Flag is a red flag which is displayed when a client has a sticky note (such as an allergy warning). Clicking on the red flag will display the client's case notes with the sticky note(s) at the top.

Fixed bug in Batch Invite of groups to sessions which was wrongly inviting non-matching clients.

A new section has been added to the Case document to record if a carer goes onto a plan (Child Protection, TAF etc.) or starts to receive financial support (Pupil Premium, free school meals etc.). This should be completed when each new Case starts and reviewed every three months.

If the plan or financial support changes, create a Case Update document to record the change and date. Do not edit the existing Case document or historical information will be lost and reports will be incorrect. (An edit should only be done to correct a mistake.)

A new carer view has been created, 'Select Clients Overdue for Review', showing carers whose last review was more than three months ago. This view should be used regularly to see which carers should be checked for changes in plans/financial support. If no changes have occurred, the carer's last review date should be updated to 'today' by clicking the Review button in the current Case document. If a change has occurred, create a Case Update document to record the change. Both of these actions will remove the carer from the 'overdue' view.
